Nikolai Davydov rules the Russian Mafia as the Russian Bear, a man who trusts control and treats love as a weakness.
Women are distractions. Then he meets Lisa, a lonely orphan who has never been protected and has never known what love feels like.
She knows she should stay away from a boss that cold and dangerous.
She cannot. She does what he asks, anything he desires, and for the first time feels safe and alive.
Around her, the man who commands everyone else can barely command himself.
He then learns a dark secret about Lisa that she has never been told, one that could destroy what is between them and tear his world apart. The decision is his.
