Alpha dragon shifter Magnus keeps a life of designer suits, fine watches, and real estate across the country, yet his dragon stays far too close to the surface.

Alpha gazelle shifter Ayelet accepts a company opening near San Diego for the ocean he loves, but the beach is not enough when he still wants someone beside him and cannot forget one night with a dragon three years ago.
Omega unicorn shifter Harbor travels the country in a converted van, and with no herd he has no place to call home.
The first time Magnus, Ayelet, and Harbor are all at Animals SD, that unfinished night and Harbor's road life are no longer separate.
