My life was planned out.
Or I thought it was.
I thought I’d found the girl years ago, next came making her mine, and building our family.
That was my plan, but life didn’t work that way.
I planned and fate laughed.
Instead, I got my heart broken and was left floundering, wondering what the hell had happened and how had I been so wrong.
I never expected her.
She’d been in my life for years and had lived and survived through her own hell.
Her pain beat mine without even trying. She was still standing, a little shaky, but standing.
The first time I took her in my arms, my heart skipped a beat.
The second time, there was no turning back.
I knew from our first ride. She was my forever.
