The badger. The bear. The bull. Like we’re pieces on a chessboard, they play with us. Like we’re not human. Like we’re inconsequential. Like they can do whatever they want.
Their wealth and privilege make them think they can get away with it. But it’s a long fall from the ivory tower. They ruined lives, locked us in cages, and took what they wanted.
The game they played was gilded. The game I’m playing is carnal.
