I love Jace. So freaking much. But hiding our relationship from the public to boost his career is harder than I expected. I get it. He’s following his dreams. But I have a dream as well; acing my degree, getting that damn trophy this year, and scoring an NFL contract even if I die trying. Adding in the long distance between Jace and me, the boyfriend-chasing famous rockstar, and all this uncertainty about our future? Yeah, I might be holding on by a thread here.
At least I have my ducks. But being a duck-dad on a campus full of students who excel in making stupid decisions might not be the best choice.

Making music, performing for thousands of fans, touring around the country with my band… It is amazing. However, it’s not all sunshine, daisies and ducks. Because when the frontman of the band youre opening for can’t handle rejection, your heart is miles away and you sense it drifting, and its not ducks but your past biting you in the ass, everything gets messed up.
I just hope that I didn’t make the worst decision of my life by leaving Ty.
