When you’re the last unbonded Omega in a friend group of mated couples, there is only one way to survive the pity: throw a massive luxury yacht party, buy enough designer champagne to drown a city, and pretend you’re having the time of your life.
I try my best to play the carefree socialite, the billionaire’s daughter who never misses a chance to dance and never lets her smile drop. It was a flawless plan to celebrate my twenty-eighth birthday and ignore the empty ache in my chest.
One careless dockhand, a dead air conditioner, and a strong ocean current later, the party is over. My safe harbor is gone, a spontaneous heat fever spikes without warning, and I’m trapped with the two most intimidating men I know.
Mikkel and Soren.
They are wealthy investors, the stars of my old teenage fantasies, and my father’s closest business partners. They are strictly off-limits, but the moment we’re stranded alone on the sweltering deck, my body does something terrifying. It recognizes them as a scent match.
What am I going to do when the Heat takes over and we are drifting miles out in the open ocean?
