Wallace Crowne just wanted to spend time with his best friends when he witnesses them fall through a fairy ring and disappear.
Convinced he can’t let them go alone, he follows after them and ends up falling onto a winged fae.
Literally onto him—he was sixty feet in the air and flying across a prairie when Wally collided with him. After crashing to the ground, heat lightning forces them to flee from a brush fire.
Only the fae gets a ride from his friends, leaving Wally to fend for himself. When they end up in the same village pub, Wally takes a job slinging ale since he’s on his own and needs cash to get by.
But once he discovers that the fae he fell on is the Summer Prince, Wally has a new goal: abduct the prince back to the castle and make him break the curse.
Over the course of their journey to the castle, Wally learns a lot about Prince Solaris and has no problem telling him he needs to stop being a lazy bastard and start being a leader.
And once Solaris quits fighting him, well, he might actually be listening. Can this prince change his ways and win the love of a man who maybe doesn’t want to go home anymore?
