Summertime in Southern Alabama is the best thing that happened for Matt Foster and the worst for Laila Wright.
After seven years away, Laila is coming home to Alabama to get some much needed RR from the stress of being a Senator’s assistant in the nation’s capital. Laila plans to use her time off to reset and think about her next move. What Laila doesn’t expect is to run into her former childhood best friend, Matt Foster – he was in fact the first boy to break her heart.
Matt is determined to show Laila that the version of him that she holds in her heart doesn’t exist anymore and he’s turned a new leaf in life. Matt is all in for Laila and is willing to do whatever it takes to show her.
