Dragon shifter Kieran is hiding from the world.
He’s been ill-used in the name of dragon politics, and he and his baby son are in Oro Escondido where it’s safe, staying in dragon guardian Lachlan’s home.
He doesn’t want to leave the suite of rooms Lachlan provided for him, worried that if he does, someone will harm his little boy. Lachlan wants Kieran to rejoin the living.
As an injured dragon who can’t look at all human, he knows what it’s like to have to keep himself away from the world outside Oro Escondido, but he also knows there’s far more Kieran can do than stay in his part of the house and hunker down.
