What’s worse than a delayed flight, getting ditched by my not-boyfriend, and having a full-on meltdown at the airport? All of it happening in front of Mr.
Toussaint—who I may or may not have been crushing on ever since the first time he came into my coffee shop back in New York, and who definitely just caught me fondling a stuffed dinosaur and trying not to cry.
I have no idea what my favorite customer is doing in Orlando (or what all that French stuff he keeps calling me means!), but I do know that having everything go wrong might just turn out to be the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Because by the time we make it back to New York, he’s not Mr. Toussaint anymore. He’s my Daddy.
