Virginal fox shifter omega Tim Bowman knows omegas are barred from the Shifters Sanctuary Unlocking parties for a reason, yet his best friend still coaxes him through the door.
The magical gathering does not destroy his world, even after he drinks far too much and loses most of the night.
He slips back into his quiet life as a shy, awkward farmhand, content to crush on alpha bear shifter Conrad Miles from afar.
Months later, strange changes in his body make it even harder to find the nerve to act on what he wants.
Tim cannot tell whether this is some overlooked omega condition—or fate finally catching up with him.
