I’m a planner. My backup plans have backup plans and I work every decision through from every angle. It usually works out for me. But now my life feels like I’ve hit a roadblock.
Work used to be my refuge, but it’s become overrun by men who think they deserve top clients on a golden platter for simply existing and I know I need to make a change.
But one thing I didn’t plan for was the man who broke my heart to come back into my life with a proposition I can’t turn down…even if it means moving across the country and under his roof. But I learned from my mistake before, and I won’t allow Nikolai Brooks back into my heart again.

Since the band I’ve been a part of for ten years broke up, I’m embarking on a new solo career. It’s terrifying to step out on my own, but I need music like I need oxygen. And I’ll do whatever I need to in order to succeed.
I’ll also do whatever I can to fix my biggest regret. It’s been said that I have commitment issues and I enjoy giving into my impulses. It’s gotten me into a few messes before, but the biggest one was when I offered to help my best friend’s sister with a little problem she wanted taken care of. What was supposed to be one night turned into more until I messed it all up.
When there’s a chance to bring her to LA to work with my management team, I find my opportunity. I let her slip through my fingers once, and I won’t allow it to happen again.
This time, Jane Walker is going to be mine forever.
