College is wrapping up and Im happy to be coming home to my parents gym where Ive spent all my life growing up. My mom and dad and all the others at Tremaines Gym have taken care of me and raised me most of my life. I love them like the weird, wild and wonderful people that they are.
But theres one that drives me totally crazy. Samson Wolf. Jaxon and Rubys son. Hes been a thorn in my side forever and he pushes me around like a big brother. But theres no way anything I feel for him feels sisterly!
Hes pushy, obnoxious and downright rude. So why do I turn to him when Im wallowing in the worst kind of trouble? Why do I feel like hes the only person I can talk to and rely on?
Samson:
Shes been in my life since I was born. Shes older than me, smarter than me and all-around a better person than I am. I shouldnt ever think about her the way I have. But I do and I cant stop myself. No matter how much I think its going to annoy our little family. How against us they will be.
Christmas is a special time of year for the whole lot of us. Ive been waiting for her to come home for Christmas break to let her know how I feel. But theres something wrong and shes so on edge. Looking over her shoulder, jumpy, agitated. Shes usually so in control and competent. I almost dont recognize her.
But if shes got a problemI will fix it. And then Ill claim her as the one for me. This Christmas I have a wish that Ive kept under wraps for long enough.
I want Chloe for my very own. This Christmas and for the rest of our lives.
