Stranded with my best frenemy might be my downfall
Pax Kane and I have had a love-hate relationship, pretty much since kindergarten. We grew up in the same small town and ended up moving away to go to the same college. And now, we even work at the same school and at the same side job, where he’s Santa and I’m his little elf.
He’s a constant reminder of what I want and what I can’t have and what I fear the most. Against my best interests, I want him, but can I accept who I am when his dominant side emerges in bed? I made a promise once to cave to no man. But with Pax… I’ve learned I’m best off keeping him in the frenemy zone—heavy on the enemy part.
Then I stupidly agreed to ride home for Christmas with him. Frenemy zone? The blizzard that strands at a motel, in a room with one bed, definitely has other plans for us. Plans that land me right into Pax’s powerful arms.
