Elias “Ice” Turner told me he loved me, and I rejected him.
Months have passed since the night I knelt for a man who could mix tenderness with agony, and since I crushed the heart he opened.
I thought staying away was what the band we have sacrificed everything for needed from me.
Ice is my bandmate, the person closest to me, and a fantasy I cannot shake, yet he is also my ex’s best friend.
Being with him would ruin our lives, our band, and me.
I am no longer sure I care if Daddy is the one who ruins me.
