People say that showing mercy makes you strong, but I know otherwise. Mercy only brings pain. It shows that you’re weak—that others can touch you without consequence.
I’ve learned my lesson the hard way. Someone I once loved is threatening my mens lives and tearing mine apart. They think they can control me, but Im not the same woman they remember.
I gave mercy once. I wont make that mistake again.
