I don’t know what it is about this guy, but I find him so magnetic. Maybe it’s the calluses on his strong hands, or the muscles shifting under his shirt. Maybe it’s the silver at his temples, or the way he glowers at everyone except me.
Whatever it is, I’m hooked. Squirming and breathless on my bar stool. And I can’t help myself—I’ve sketched the silver fox dozens of times, biting my lip as my pencil swoops across the page.
I’ve been here every night. Watching. Wanting. Now he’s seen those drawings, and my secret is out.
But the bar owner isn’t mad. Not even one bit.
