When Zalman Darcy's best friends vanish through a fairy ring on an ordinary outdoor outing, he follows them into a fae realm he is somehow expected to save alone.
At least Autumn Prince Incendis is there to keep him company, and Zalman has no objection to taking the prince to bed.
A curse linked to Incendis working himself to the bone and remaining single is common knowledge to everyone except Zalman, and once he understands it he means to take charge, claim what he wants, and put an entire court back together.
He has never been in love, but when the prince actually listens to him and later saves his life, falling for a fae royal starts to feel possible.
Long-kept secrets come into the open, Zalman works out who Lars really is, and a Seasonal Fae prince locked away until he can become a better man must still earn another person's love.
