Veterinarian Marjorie ‘Markie’ Russell left her hometown in Idaho to escape the clutches of her mothers new, much younger, husband, a man with a cocky grin and wandering hands. Determined to start fresh, Markie moves to Clifton, Montana and is instantly wary when called to a ranch to check on a horse, where she meets a local cowboy, Nate Jefferson.
