Mestra, daughter of the King of Thessaly, is given a rare gift by Poseidon: she can transform into any being she imagines.
Her father bears a crueler fate, cursed by Demeter with an unnatural, endless hunger for showing the goddess disrespect.
Devoted to him, Mestra offers her shifting form as a means of keeping him alive.
A hunger without limit soon forces her to face how much of herself he may take.
She must decide whether to go on sustaining her father or finally break free.
