But I’m pretty sure their mates weren’t in the process of buying pregnancy books at the time. Even if I get over that, my cancer has returned, and I’m about to have a significant body part removed.
Rafferty says it doesn’t make a difference to him, but he’s an alpha wolf shifter, and some of his pack members have been expressing concerns.
Rafferty is persistent, though, and he’s bending over backwards to make sure I know he wants me to be his mate. I’m trying to believe him, but the last thing I want is for him to regret his decision.
