I agreed to marry the new werewolf king in exchange for my freedom.
But now hes holding me hostage on his packs land.
Did I mention that he bit me, publicly, to claim me?
Or that hes so lost in the darkness of his past that hes basically feral?
If I could grow fur myself, maybe the situation would be a simpler one, but I cant.
Somehow, I have to snap my new mate out of his funk, so he can get the pack in order and deal with the people who want me dead.
But to make that happen?
Its looking like love is my best bet.
I dont want to fall for him or try to make him fall for me… but I dont think I have a choice.
Because love sucks, but being killed by a bunch of werewolves?
