Micah Jacksons life is turned upside down when hes called in the middle of the night to tow the car of a young woman whos stranded on the side of the road in his small town of Bryce, Colorado. She has nowhere to go, so of course Micah offers her a safe place to spend the night.
Just one night, until her car is fixed and shes back on the road, right? But nothing goes as planned, and the more time he spends with her, the more he realizes shes running from something. Something bad. Or, rather someone bad. And like the hero he is, Micah finds himself wanting to protect her from the threat looming over her.
