Ever since Jamie Evans swung her piercing eyes my way in the courtroom, I haven’t been able to stop drawing them. I don’t think anyone’s ever looked at me with such utter hatred.
But I never blamed her. She believed a lie. So did the jury.
Convicted of a murder I didn’t commit at the age of nineteen, I’ve spent sixteen years in prison with her loathing eyes haunting my dreams and my sketchbooks.
