Amy McBride and Jones Quebedeau have been best friends forever. Amy runs the pet sanctuary in Mistletoe Meadows and Jones is the town veterinarian. Amy helps Jones as a vet tech and Jones donates his services for her stray animals. They do pretty much everything together.
When Joness aunt dies and leaves him a large inheritance, with the condition that he must be married to receive it, he enlists Amys help to find him a suitable bride. But there isnt anyone hed rather spend time with than Amy, so it just makes sense that theyd tie the knot, and both of their businesses could use the influx of money.
