Lo has lived in the shadow of her country-star husband, Jesse Cooper, ever since fame took him.
The love song he wrote for her is sung to another woman, and on camera he insists he is single, his wedding ring hidden while hers remains on her hand.
His manager moves into their house, keeps Lo out of every interview, and promises that no one will learn she exists.
Before Lo can tell Jesse she is carrying his child, that same manager claims the pregnancy at his homecoming, and the town cheers for a baby that was never real.
Lo leaves the test on the table and drives two hundred miles to raise their child alone.
Jesse cancels the tour, fires the manager, and comes back asking for a second chance, but Lo is done letting the spotlight decide her life.
