Tennyson Stone, Marine sniper-turned-hitman, has broken from his long-time employer, Bastian Harlow.
In retaliation, Harlow has targeted Tennyson’s childhood best friend, Lindsey, along with two other Marines.
Accused of murdering a Romanian diplomat, the Marines are being held in a prison in Bucharest, Romania, awaiting a trial they may never see.
Thankfully, Tennyson has a secret weapon: Louna Despereaux, master thief, who claims she can break Lindsey and the other Marines out of prison. But as she and Tennyson prepare for the trial, Tennyson begins to suspect that Louna may have ulterior motives in following him to Romania.
