While Van and Skye deal with family problems at home, Jake and Marnee travel together to the Virgin Islands to gather information about the O’Leary family’s newest competition-a ruthless, large scale mob boss with designs on setting up shop in Meredith Falls.
Following their shared trauma and loss, Jake and Marnee have formed a tight knit, slapstick friendship where they process their grief through dark humor and safe flirting.
But when a hurricane traps them on the island with their newest adversary and limited resources, they’ll have to fight more than sexual tension to get home alive.
