I don’t want to marry this man.
I got caught up in the wedding planning and shut out all the doubts. But once I’m standing next to him at the altar, it’s glaringly obvious to me. If I marry this man, I’ll be sorry.
So, I run. I race from the retreat center and head for the cabin we passed on the drive in. Maybe nobody will be home and I can hide there until they give up on finding me.
But someone is definitely home. And what I feel for the reclusive hunk makes it all too clear that marrying someone else would have been a mistake.
But eventually my family will find me. And they won’t be happy about where I’ve been.
