Growing up, I had everything money could buy, except the one thing I craved. To be loved. Ignored by my parents and tormented by my peers, I found solace in isolation and music.
Until Jace Evans. Jace swooped in and saved me… not once, but twice.
The bad boy, with a big heart. He promised me a better tomorrow, and like a fool… I believed him. The tomorrow he promised came without him.
He vanished, leaving me to nurse a broken heart and mourn the life I thought was within my grasp. I was sure things couldn’t get worse. Turns out, I was wrong about that, too.
Eight years pass before Jace swings back into my life, like a wrecking ball. Except, he’s no longer a reckless bad boy. He saves people for a living, and now… his sights are set on saving me.
