David Armitage was supposed to look out for me after my father died, but he has been nothing but a signature on my allowance checks and mandatory congratulatory cards for the last four years.
That all changes when he is the one I have to call to bail me out of jail. Nothing could have prepared me for the spark I felt when he actually came to get me… and asked me to move in with him.
