Patrolling Montana’s forests is usually simple: protect the lands, keep locals and visitors safe, and investigate any violations in my jurisdiction.
It doesn’t include getting distracted by off-grid recluses who brew beer with huckleberries and truffles…harvested illegally.
Especially if he’s got an unsavory past and looks like he could wrestle a grizzly and win. He wants first prize in the brewing contest at the Deepwood Mountain Fall Festival.
