I fell in love when I was seven years old. I didn’t know what it was then, but what I did know was when I saw her golden braids, a hole where a tooth belonged, and creamy skin dotted with freckles, my world would never be the same again. Every memory, every smile, every laugh, was tied to her.
As we got older, I saw our future and couldn’t wait for the day I could finally make her mine. But life isn’t always so easy. I had a difficult choice to make, and instead of protecting her, I broke her heart.
When that golden ray of sunshine came back into my life, I vowed that nothing would keep me away. I would prove to everyone that I’m not my past anymore. I wouldnt let my old ways haunt me.
