Twenty-two years ago, creatures came out of the shadows. They revealed themselves and demanded the same rights as humans. Peace was achieved and for the most part, the creatures, referred to as Other Realm Beings or Orbs for short, fit into society.
For Bas Grant, being around Orbs never bothered him. When he gets assigned to the Orb wing of the blood center he works at, he gets to meet the blood dependent creatures for the first time.
But when hes suddenly attracted to one of his patients, will he be able to resist the lust? And when tensions between the humans and the Orbs start to rise, will Bas be able to fight for what he wants while fighting for the Orb uprising?
