He’s sworn to the suns. Celibate. Untouchable. She makes him want to burn.
Tamsin came to study Khorani religion. Observe, document, leave. She didn’t expect the Sun Priest assigned as her guide to look at her like she’s a revelation he can’t explain.
Sorek has served the twin suns his entire life. He’s never touched another being. Never wanted to. Then he catches her scent. Now he can’t pray. Can’t meditate.
Can’t stop imagining what she’d taste like, sound like, feel like beneath his shaking hands. His vows demand celibacy. His body demands her. The law is clear: touch her, and he loses everything.
But when she tries to leave to save him from the choice, he realizes the truth. She is everything.
Forbidden romance. Celibacy vow broken. Virgin hero. He served the suns his whole life. Now he only worships her.
