I moved to the human city of Kilinis to raise my profile and add to my dragon hoard, but more than anything, I wanted to find a mate.
When I meet a compassionate human full of dragon fire, I do what any self-respecting dragon would: ply her with gifts to show her how important she is and how well I can take care of her.
But navigating human culture is difficult. They use so many euphemisms: “thirsty”, “ghosting”, “NSA”. How can I keep track when they’re all so nonsensical? Oddest of all, they seem to call courting “an arrangement”.

I’ve got nothing but worries. Work. My mom. How I’m going to pay my bills. So when a dragon named Az’zael sweeps in and starts showering me with gifts, asking to make an “arrangement”? Well, why not have a little fun with the hot dragon?
It doesn’t hurt that he’s sweet, and kind, and makes me feel cared for. I just can’t figure out why he wants a sugar baby, when he could have his pick of girlfriends.
