Silas was off limits the moment I met him. He was a widower, twenty years older than me, and I was dating his son. I should have kept my distance. Instead I became obsessed with a man who could never be mine.
Years after his son and I broke up, I thought that obsession was finished. I moved to a small town, focused on becoming the best nurse I could be, found the best friends a girl could ask for, and even tried dating.
Then Silas purchased Rose Valley Hospital, and we came face to face. Wanting him consumes me again, stronger than before. I want to get closer—to touch him, to kiss him. I’m not giving him up this time. He’s mine, and I’ll make sure he knows it.
