The last thing Alethea thought she’d ever do is go back home. She finally had her dream job in the city and a gorgeous fiancé to boot. Or at least she did, until one horrible day that left Alethea single and unemployed. With no other choice, she returns to her hometown to fix-up the Victorian house she inherited. But between her eccentric Aunt Scarlet, the strange, unexplainable things that have started to happen around her, and a too-hot-for-his-own-good contractor named Brent that Alethea just can’t seem to avoid, she isn’t sure how she’ll survive the summer. Luckily, with the help of her two best friends, her mischievous cat, Dandelion, and maybe even a little magic, Alethea discovers that sometimes life needs to fall apart before you can put it back together the right way.
