I have friends, found family, and the respect of so many. So of course, when sh!t hits the fan, everyone looks to me to get us through it. And I can. I will. Its such a cliché. Gay band nerd falling for the charming, sexy straight football coach. Ok, maybe not common enough to be a cliché, but its felt like it for the last 2 years as Ive watched Brandon Beiler from afar. An awkward interrupted shower and an apology over dinner puts me exactly where Ive wanted to be since the first moment I saw him; by his side. Im ecstatic for the friendship, but the more I learn about Brandon, the more I realize that hes always there for everyone elseI want to be the person thats always there for him.
