Life took me on a path no one should ever have to experience when I was nine years old. Years of trauma and fighting my inner hurt consumed me.
I found my purpose, my comfort, and what I wanted to do with my life when I found my art. I followed Angel into the profession. He’s my safe place. He helped raise me and taught me how to fight the demons hiding in the dark. What he couldn’t prepare me for was the monster lurking in the shadows.
A constant mark, always behind me. Eyes are watching me, but I never see them.
I forget about my problems when I’m sucked into the depths of Mimics hurt.
Piece by piece, he supports my dreams and helps keep me together. My very being consumes him, and I’m beginning to feel the same.
But can this survive? How can we make it?
